The Brand

With over 300 members, the LGMC is the largest gay chorus in Europe, and famous for its over-the-top sold out shows at such venues as Southbank Centre, Cadogan Hall, and The Troxy. Mixing equal parts activism with camp classics and pop favourites, the LGMC's mission is to change the world by sharing something we all love: the gift of music.

The Goal and My Role​

In addition to being a Tenor 1 member, I created a variety of content for the Hitsville: Motown and More show in June, 2019, consisting of historical essays to align with the show's Civil Rights Movement theme, as well as dialogue scripts for the hosts of the evening. Each piece was featured between certain songs to create an overall flow for the show. To keep the pieces fresh and historically accurate, I interviewed a number of sources and incorporated extensive research to achieve an engaging tone that blended well with the musical set list.
